Choosing the piece and the options

Start with where it will live. Pet jewelry goes with you, home and desk pieces stay where you can see them, and memorial pieces give you a quiet place to remember a pet. Clay pieces are sculpted and painted by hand, while our portraits are hand-drawn.

The photo we need from you

A sharp, well-lit photo taken face-on lets us see your pet's eyes and markings. Send one pet per photo. If your pet has markings that one angle misses, add another shot with your order.

The photo check before we begin

We look at each photo before any work starts. That way, a blurry photo gets sorted out before production begins.

Shaping and painting by hand

We study what makes your pet recognizable, such as the shape of the ears, the markings and the color of the coat. Then we shape the piece in clay and paint it by hand.

Details vary by piece. Our figurines, for example, use stone clay sealed with a protective gloss varnish. You can read more about us on our About page.

Why no two pieces match exactly

Each piece is made by hand for one pet, so small differences in shape and color are normal. They are part of what makes each keepsake yours.

We aim for your pet's likeness and character. Expect a handmade portrait rather than an exact copy of your photo.

If it arrives damaged or wrong

Custom pieces are final sale, because each one is made for your pet. If your order arrives damaged or does not match what you ordered, we will remake it for free. If we cannot remake it, we will refund you.
